Increasing Economic Mobility in Little Havana through Workforce Development
Miami-Dade College (MDC) is the lead partner on the Increasing Economic Mobility in Little Havana Through Workforce Development project. MDC Padron Campus is located in Little Havana, and as a Healthy Little Havana partner, they also recognize the unique value and potential within the community. Many of the Little Havana residents speak Spanish as a first language or lack formal US workforce training required to increase their opportunities for better employment. The project aims to connect residents to education and employment opportunities, building capacity for the workforce through training opportunities curated for Little Havana residents.
