Community Steering Committee

The Community Steering Committee is highly valued under the HIA process. Members inform the HIA process by identifying current challenges faced in the neighborhood of Little Havana, and how the health of residents may be impacted by these issues. By incorporating feedback from both committees, this collaborative and differential approach provides decision-makers with a balanced perspective, increasing the likelihood of policy development dependent on HIA findings.
